July 29th Farrington Village Fete
This was a small village fete with us as guest
Pirates. We set up a living history area and
basically kicked back untill our 1st show. After
which we visted the rest of the fete before doing
our second show. We dressed one of the Gymkhanna
entrants in Pirate attire for a 'fancy dress on
horse' parade in which he came second. Another fine
day out for the Wolfpack.

July 15th Tropiquaria Somerset
We took 15 Pirates to this one day event to play on
two very nice Pirate ships beached in Somerset. We
met up with Capn Badger of the welsh pirates and
spent most of the day fighting off the kids who had
plastic swords and were not frightend to use them.
We put on 2 shows using the boats as a stage which
put interesting situations our way as the boats
where to scale so we found out how hard it is to
actually fight on board a ship. The weather could
not have been better as it was so darn hot!! We
even got to look around a great place to take the kids.

July 12th Herefields School Pirate Day
We were invited by the School Head to entertain the
classes during their last week at this school
before its closure. We set up camp on the Playing
Field whilst the kids were in class so when they
came out for 1st break they got a bit of a
surprise. We put on a short show for them and sent
them back to there class at the bell. We then split
into 2 groups and visited the classes, taking the
teacher captive and for 15mins teaching the kids
about Pirates. That was a tough assignment but
still very enjoyable. Actually quite a rewarding day.
